This is a marketing site. It has no accounts or logins, and this page describes everything it collects.

Visit analytics

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics, which collects anonymized, cookieless visit metrics — page views, referrers, country. It does not identify you and does not follow you across other sites.

Advertising

Ascent advertises on Google. The site loads Google's advertising tag (gtag.js), which sets cookies so Google can tell whether someone who clicked an ad went on to request a call. You can opt out of personalized Google advertising at myadcenter.google.com, and most browsers let you block or clear these cookies.

Visit history in our CRM

The site loads a tracking script from our CRM provider, GoHighLevel. It stores an identifier in your browser and records the pages you view here, how you arrived (the referring site and any campaign tags in the link), and the form you submit. If you request a call, that history is attached to your contact record so we know what you read before we talk. It only covers this site; it does not follow you elsewhere. The site also remembers in your browser, for up to 90 days, the link or site that first brought you here and the most recent one, and sends that along if you submit a form. Clearing your browser's site data removes both.

The qualification questions and booking

If you ask to see whether an engagement fits, the site collects your name, sponsor or fund, phone number, email address, and your answers to six short questions about the offering — the exemption, its size, whether securities counsel is engaged, the media budget, your track record, and your role. That information is sent to our customer relationship manager, GoHighLevel, and to a private spreadsheet as a backup, and is used solely to prepare for and schedule a scoping call. The site itself stores nothing.

If the engagement fits, the site shows a scheduler embedded from GoHighLevel, the same system that holds the enquiry. What you enter there is governed by GoHighLevel's own privacy policy.

Text messages and your mobile number

The qualification form has two optional, unchecked boxes for text messages, and they are two separate permissions (Ascent Client Acquisition Systems alerts):

  • Non-marketing. Texts about the scoping call you booked — confirming it, reminding you of it, and telling you if the time changes.
  • Marketing. Following up on your enquiry and occasional offers, which may be sent by autodialer.

Checking one does not check the other, and we only ever send the kind of message you agreed to. Leave both unchecked and we never text you; neither is a condition of anything. Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to any message to opt out or HELP for help. The full program terms are on the terms page.

Your number and your consent are stored in our customer relationship manager (GoHighLevel) with a record of the wording you agreed to and when, so we can show how a number opted in. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Data security

We protect personal information, including mobile numbers and consent records, using industry-standard safeguards: encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access limited to authorized personnel, and secure, access-controlled storage with our service providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We never ask about, collect or assess accredited-investor status on this site. Beyond the Google advertising tag and the CRM visit history described above, we set no tracking cookies, and nothing on this site follows you around the web on our behalf.
